Matt Loeb was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer of ISACA in 2014. ISACA is a global association of 115,000 IT professionals with expertise in audit, assurance, security, privacy and risk. In his capacity as CEO, he stimulates organization-wide strategic thinking, innovation, and the development of new business opportunities to increase ISACA’s global influence, impact and long-term sustainability through the advancement of members’ careers and advocacy for the growth and recognition of the IT profession.
Prior to joining ISACA, Loeb spent 20 years as Staff Executive of IEEE, the world’s largest organization advancing technology for humanity. His responsibilities included management of IEEE's enterprise strategy, corporate development, global business operations, governance, corporate recognition and history functions. He also served as the Executive Director of the IEEE Foundation, the philanthropic arm of IEEE. Loeb has also worked for the American Society for Quality in Milwaukee, WI as head of its Quality Press, the Society's publishing arm. Previous to that, his career experience was in the computer and publishing industries where he held senior leadership positions in sales, marketing, product development, and acquisitions.
Loeb is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), a Senior Member of IEEE and a Member of ISACA.
