With more than 20 years of experience in senior leader roles in associations and nonprofit organizations, I have a demonstrated track record of driving strategic change, leading global initiatives, structuring mission-critical partnerships and alliances, and increasing membership, volunteer, and employee engagement.
As Deputy of Executive Operations at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), I spearheaded an initiative to enhance the Board of Directors’ ability to govern a large globally expanding organization.
As Staff Executive for Corporate Activities at the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), I led efforts to create a new strategic plan, drove enterprise-wide projects to instill data-driven decision-making into all levels of the organization, and laid the foundation to expand operations in Europe.
At the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE with 1,200+ employees), I led employee engagement efforts and was also consistently ranked in the Top 10% of leadership by attaining the highest employee engagement of all teams.
And in 2017 I won the “Professional Performance Award” from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and was selected as 1 of only 4 ASAE Fellows in 2014, representing the Top 1% of the ASAE's membership base.
